KTM intends the X-Bow to be a racing machine, but it will also be road-legal. This is quite a challenge for a small manufacturer. Apart from anything else, there's a lot of red tape involved, and KTM has provisionally to "standardise" the car according to the laws of eight European countries, of which the UK is one.
The car at Geneva is a prototype; production will start at the end of this year. KTM reports that there is an expanding waiting list of potential customers.
